KYC (Know Your Customer) regulations require us to learn more about our clients' identity before letting them use our services.

Proof of ID: To enable your TrustVault account, we need to know your full name and surname and proof or address. You can send us the following type of government-issued identification documents photographed:

  • International passport

  • Driving licence (both sides)

  • National ID card (both sides)

Please note that any other types of ID will not be accepted.

The following forms of proof of place of address are accepted:

  • Energy provider bill

  • Bank statement

  • Tax assessment

  • Photographic ID

  • Mortgage statement

  • Certificate of voter registration

  • Correspondence between you and a government authority regarding the receipt of benefits such as a pension, unemployment benefits, housing benefits, etc.

  • Utility company bills

  • Bills from energy companies older than three months may not be uploaded as proof of residence. Generally accepted documents are:

  • Gas bill

  • Electricity bill

  • Water bill

  • Cable company bill (but not from satellite TV companies)

  • Landline telephone bill

  • Bills for mobile services such as mobile phone etc. are not accepted as proof of place of residence.

Proof of residence should contain your full name, address and have been issued in the last 3 months.

Please note that the Bitpanda Custody Compliance Officers have the right to request additional documents.

Video: As a part of identity verification stage, it is necessary to upload a video of you with your ID document which makes verification faster and easier because we can see you.
